The integration of digital technologies into human resource management has transformed recruitment, employee training, performance evaluation, and workforce development. However, the successful implementation of human resource (HR) technology depends not only on technical capabilities but also on employee acceptance, usability, and engagement. Gamification has emerged as a promising strategy for encouraging participation and improving user experiences through game-inspired elements such as points, badges, progress indicators, challenges, and feedback mechanisms. This paper examines the role of gamification in promoting human-centered HR technology adoption and explores its potential influence on employee engagement and organizational performance. It emphasizes the importance of designing digital HR systems around employee needs, accessibility, transparency, and intrinsic motivation. The paper also discusses challenges associated with excessive competition, privacy concerns, unequal participation, and poorly designed reward systems. A conceptual framework is proposed to explain how human-centered design and gamification may contribute to technology acceptance and more effective HR processes. The discussion suggests that gamification should complement meaningful work experiences rather than replace employee autonomy, professional judgment, or supportive management practices.
