The Journal of Modern Medical Research (JMMR) is committed to providing high-quality, open-access publication services to researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, and scholars worldwide. To support the costs associated with manuscript processing, peer review management, editorial handling, production, online hosting, indexing support, and long-term digital archiving, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to accepted manuscripts.

Article Processing Charge (APC): USD 50

The APC is payable only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication. There are no submission fees, and authors are not charged during the initial review process.

What the APC Covers

The APC contributes to the following publication services:

  • Editorial assessment and manuscript management

  • Double-blind peer review coordination

  • Professional copyediting and proofreading

  • Article formatting and typesetting

  • DOI assignment (where applicable)

  • Online publication and hosting

  • Open-access availability to readers worldwide

  • Long-term digital preservation and archiving

  • Metadata preparation for indexing and discoverability

Open Access Policy

All articles published in the Journal of Modern Medical Research are made freely available online immediately upon publication. Readers may access, read, download, and cite published articles without subscription or access fees, thereby increasing the visibility and impact of authors' research.

Payment Terms

  • APC payment is requested only after acceptance.

  • Authors will receive payment instructions along with the acceptance notification.

  • Publication will proceed after APC confirmation.

  • No charges are imposed for manuscript submission or peer review.

Waiver and Discount Policy

The Journal of Modern Medical Research may consider APC waivers or discounts in exceptional circumstances, particularly for authors from low-income regions or those facing significant financial constraints. Requests for waivers must be submitted to the editorial office before publication and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Policy

Once the publication process has commenced following acceptance and payment, APCs are generally non-refundable. Refund requests will be reviewed only under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
